  • Poundo yam vs Pounded yam!

Discussion started by NaijaSubway on September 6, 2020 at 5:29 PM

‘Iyan’ is one of the most popular meal in Nigeria. it is regarded as the king of all meals in south western Nigeria. It can be eaten with any kind of soup but it is popularly eaten with Egunsi soup.

Is there a difference in taste between ‘poundo yam’ and ‘ pounded yam” ?  which will always be your go to meal and why?

I think I preferred pounded yam but the stress is too much.

Oh!!! now I remember, a  friend of mine made a machine that can make pounded yam from boiled yam. I think I will ask him for one. Joy
