  CHILD MARRIAGE IN NIGERIA.

  This is a pre wedding picture . This is not religion/culture!  This is evil and Barbaric!? she is just a child. How can these kids be safe? How can they be gotten out of these evil child marriage? #AGirlNotAWoman #childmarriage #girlchild #schoolNotMarriage

  Human right is violated when a Girl-child is married off at under 18!

  I think it all depends on legislation and the level of education of our people especially the North. Many states are yet to adopt the 2003 Child Right Act into their state laws- this is 2020! Moreover minimum age of sexual consent in Nigeria is 11 years! So these are loopholes you know… We seem to have conflicting definition of who a child is!
