#BlackTax – A good child works for the household, that’s what they say.

For a middle-class professional or an entrepreneur, do we see this has a hindrance towards achieving our dreams, or rather does it help us to break barriers ?

    Hmm…

I am not a tax expert but generally government imposes tax based on the state on the country and anything that will serve as hinderance to the growth of any entrepreneur should be eliminate as this will affect the government administration as well.

What I see in Nigeria case is rather an untoward.

“A good child works for the household” is a slogan that has been hijacked. No good child works just for the household to squander or loot the money like the government does.

BlackTax isn’t a tax from the govt, this refer to the idea that you has a child, since you are a kid, you have been brought up in a way to understand that you have to take responsibility of things when you grow up, and example is when you live and work in the city, this means your salary is earned to take care of the whole family, you have then become a blacktax payer

Hmmmm! I will say it does affect how we grow as black people most especially financial stability. It was a system created to help reduce family poverty rate ( which I believe was a good thing) cos we all know how bad things got after colonization. In as much as we have families who have benefitted from black tax system, 75% of  young black adults  who have worked so hard to beat systematic racism are still  financially unstable due to the bad financial state of the black community in general.
